This is my first attempt at a steam punk(ish sculpture. The base is a
Beech root and the vine and leaves are mild steel. The vine is made
using re-purposed metal pulled from a swamp, the leaves are sheet metal
that was used to make automobile body repairs. The gauge is a
speedometer from a Model A Ford. This is the second from my Motown
Sculpture Series.

Wine Rack Sculpture
This wine rack is designed to compliment a wood rack for the same patron. It holds standard 450ml. bottles and various other wine bottle shapes. There is around a 10 degree slant toward the cork. Incorporated in the sculpture is a grape vine with the roots at the bottom and climbing up the back of the rack to the top where branches with tendrils and leaves move horizontaly.

Iron Rose Bouquet
This sculpture is all one kind of metal, steel. Making a small rose from steel was a bit of a challenge. The stems are from a political sign wire and the leaf stems are a spring from a piece of furniture. The blue color is a reflection of a cloudless sky.

Copper and Steel Cattleya Plant Sculpture
This sculpture uses blossoms made using recycled copper from a fire line. The Air roots are made from an old bicycle child carrier, wire from a political sign, and springs taken from a piece of discarded furniture. The rest is made from .032 mild sheet steel. I have seven blossoms left to make my next project.
