Councelor

Counselor pleading his case.

Octahedron

Each of the eight faces of this octahedron is different. This sculpture was donated to the Munising Bay Art Association and sold in a silent auction .

i-Naga

i-Naga is an updated version of the ancient god Naga. Thousands of years ago Naga represented a being that controlled the waters. If a sacrifice of some of the rice crop was not given to Naga, punishment came in the form of a monsoon. i-Naga represents conscience and consequence of todays society. i-Naga is angry at what we've done to the water and air and this time it'll be much more than a seasonal monsoon.

Punk Skull

The name Punk Skull speaks for itself!

Motownous Resurrectus

Motownous Resurrectus is made basically from automobile artifacts. The sculpture represents the rebirth of Detroit. This sculpture is approximately five feet tall.

Skull

Skull is slightly larger than an actual human skull. This sculpture is made from metal recycled from a wood stove that heated my home for around twenty years. It has a well earned patina.

Sir John

Sir John was inspired by the New Testament story of the Centurion who trusted Jesus to heal his loved one. The name Sir John came about when a fellow metal shaper named John noted the resemblance to himself, thus Sir John. Sir John is made from recycled metal that once served as a shroud for a hot water tank.

Professor Drago

Professor Drago, is my second dragon sculpture. Gesture of the face and hands give Professor Drago a whimsical characteristic. This sculpture lives in the "Windy City" in a private collection.

Agatha

Agatha, my first dragon has a raw beauty, but a graceful flow. She will stand in her hind feet or on all fours. Agatha is now part of a private art collection.

Sees With Wings

Sees With Wings was inspired by a story of a near drowning in white water. The man looked up while drowning and saw a Blue Jay in a tree above the rapids. He then saw himself through the bird's eyes. Shortly thereafter, he was lifted from the water by an unknown source and placed safely on a rock. The sculpture was a gift, and now resides with the teller of this wonderful adventure.

Cowechan Warrior

Cowechan Warrior was created based on inspiration viewing pictures of Northwestern American Natives. A simple "brush-stroke" of metal shaping was the emphasis with this wall hanging sculpture. This sculpture resides in a collection of masks from around the world. The finish is brushed mild steel with no preservative measures.

The Accuser of Brethren

The Accuser of brethren was recently completed. The sculpture does not represent Satan, but the dark side of human nature. We think... we say... we do... we act... we are... then we blame someone else. The sculpture was made using .032" mild steel sheet , 1/4" round mild steel, and copper sheet. After shaping the steel sheet, it was MIG welded together. Accuser of Brethren is presently being shown at the Alger Heritage Center in Munising, Michigan
